I love to be with the Wind, Wee Wisdom, and all the folks in the land of We.

The Wind is becoming my mother and my friend and helping me clearly to see.

When I listen and obey she blows me where I need to go,

And softly whispers in my ear the truth I need to know.

Sometimes I don't think of her,

Then everything becomes a blur.

I begin to only think of myself,

And forget to love anybody else.

 

I'm in the land of Me.

The communion we had- love, light, life and home I've left and so lost,

I'm alone, it's dark, I feel no love,

What a great cost!

 

Still she doesn't leave me,

But holds me still and tight,

Until I am willing to see my disobedience,

And set things right.

The wee monster of me

As I plainly see

Is not true to Thee

As You want me to be

With Thy help to me

I will conquer the monster of me

With Your love in my heart

I will surely start

To become a part

of the wonderful

Kingdom of Your heart

I am selfish.

I went in to the black hole.

The World of Me.

I was really sad to go in the black hole.

I am not going to be selfish any more.

Mr. Me Monster quit singing that song and leave me alone.

I don’t want to sing that 'me me' song.

I want to live in the Kingdom of We and not fall into your trap

To that dark scary terrible World of Me.

So sometimes I can be a little selfish, but that does not mean I’m a 'me'.

But Mother Wind can help me become a better 'we' instead of a better 'me'.

So Mr. Me Monster go away

I don’t want you here, so just go away

And if you do come singing that terrible 'me' song

I’ll lock my doors and windows so that nothing can go wrong.

It’s not FAIR!!!

I was away and my brother wasn’t.

He was at home and I was at school.

When I got home my brother had a treat and I wasn’t able to have one.

I asked him to share but he didn’t.

I thought in my head “What about Me”

I guess at the time I was in the world of ME!

“IT’S NOT FAIR!!!” I thought selfishly.

My brother was teasing me because of just that, so I said, “I don’t really care.”

A little while later I said to myself “Do I really care of this whole big thing?”

Then once again I was in the Kingdom of We!

Selfish, selfish

I was really selfish

I had a toy and wouldn’t share it

It was cute and fluffy just for me

Oh how I adored it

As my bratty little sister

Pulled it away

Oh I wanted it to myself

How selfish of me

I could feel myself in a really dark hole

With nothing shown

It is a day of selfishness

A day of fear

So don’t land in the

Dark hole as you can hear.

When I get selfish with my video games

I sometimes call my sister names

I know that it’s not really fair

When I feel like I don’t need to share

I forget that I will be in trouble

When I’m told to get here on the double

I’m always told to please take turns

You think by now that I would’ve learned

I have to stop and say I know

That sharing is the way to go

The World of Me

My way of being selfish is yelling out “Give it to ME!!”

Except when I get to the World of Me then I say

            “I want to do better and I want to go back to

            the Kingdom of We! Please help me!! I hate it

            in the World of Me! Please bring me back

            to the Kingdom of We!”

 

                                    It’s All About Me!!

                                    Until I Go to the Kingdom

                                                of We!!
