When I was small I learned to pray
at the closing of each day.
Mom sat down upon our beds.
My sister and I lay down our heads.
Together we would all recite
this prayer into the darkest night.
“Now I lay me down to sleep.
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
Should I die before I wake.
I pray the Lord my soul to take.
Bless Mommy, Daddy and the kin
that all of us might enter in.”
Then silently I’d make a plea
to the God I hoped was hearing me.
Please make me good as I can be
for one whose age is almost three.
Years passed by and there I’d sit
upon the bed of our own kidlets.
Together we would all recite
that very same prayer into the night.
More years pass by and I’m still here
upon the bed of our grand -babies dear.
Now I lay them down to sleep
and pray the Lord their souls to keep.
Flannelette jammies, cherubic wee faces,
cozy warm blankets tucked in the right places.
Bless their dear wee lives I pray.
Help them to grow in You each day.
Now I lay me down to sleep.
My body aches I start to weep
for all your children Father dear
those far away and those so near.
Touch each one on whatever bed
they find themselves this night.
Bring them close, and closer still
to You, their Strength and Might.
My body writhes through out the night
with pain I can scarcely bear.
Oh Father dear, please teach us all of
your Pain’s unceasing prayer.
Your Spirit sweet groans into ours
the prayer we cannot utter.
Thank you sweet Spirit for praying us through
the paltry prayers we mutter.
Deep in the heart of our bodily pain
is Yourself praying us through
to Wisdom’s wise way’s made abundantly clear
in the blessed release of our every last tear.
Wisdom’s pure indwelling light is
transforming our chestnut hair to white
while our confident, self-sufficiency
is humbly becoming as a child, you see.
Pain’s gift of dependence on the Godhead three
proves Wisdom’s all that she can be.
as she makes us all that God wants us to be
little children for His everlasting Glory!
Wisdom like a Mother dear,
won’t lay to waste a single tear
of the suffering saints she holds so dear.
If we lay upon her comforting breast
lay hold of her promised eternal rest,
we will hear her unceasing prayer in our pain
groaning for our eternal gain
as she raises us up together that we
play our part in Christ’s mystical body, you see
His Church; his beloved bride are we.
Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord His saints to keep.
Should I die before I wake
I pray the Lord my tears can make
an intercession for his sake.
Bless all your saints our heavenly kin
and all the souls who have yet to come in.
Thank you Mom for the childhood prayer
for the Spirit still meets me and rests on me there.
Thank you for teaching that I need to pray
in my bed at the closing of every day.

We responsibly receive direct communication
From our God who honors our concentration
On His precious gift of identification
With the crucified life of His incarnation
With the witness of biblical revelation

Oh how I love to walk humbly with Jesus
Oh how I love the smile on His face
Oh how I love His presence so near us
Oh how I love His glory and grace.
I thirst with unquenchable thirst for His presence
I drink deep draughts of Him when He draws near
This is the eternal paradoxical riddle
In a recollected communion so dear.
This peculiar wee people needs lovers of Jesus
Lovers who count their own life as loss
Lovers who want to deny themselves fully
And willingly pick up their cross.
for His Name’s sake
Humility is our self-denial,
The means to accomplish death to our life.
There’s nothing else in us to conquer Belial
but identification with
The Incarnate Humility’s answer to strife.
If we live in the realm of our puffed up reason.
We give birth to its twins in their very own season.
Conceit and Deceit are their obvious names.
Even death is too good for their arrogant claims.
But Jesus the Incarnate Humility,
Has identified Himself with us you see.
And we must identify ourselves with He,
To manifest our inheritance of Liberty.
Jesus

Our God is incarnate in Jesus Christ
Our Jesus incarnate in us...his bride.
Oh! the joy and the rapture our body complete
With Himself and His saints our lives replete.
His glorified nature inhabits our frame
Saying, “Yes, it is I, the Source of your gain.
One Blood with your blood it pleases our Father
To give you my Kingdom of ‘Love one another.’
One Spirit with yours I am pleased to impart
The fullness of Truth and Love for your heart.
My Water of baptism’s pleased to indwell
Your own baptism you know so well.
My Temple, your body, gave room for my birth
It’s the home I am seeking from each on this earth.
And yes, it’s a stable filthy with greed
Lusting for more than you ever could need
It’s a crude and unclean sexuality
But I want you to know that it’s meant just for Me.
It’s here that my nature incarnates in yours
It’s the very home I’ve been looking for.
“So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.” Gen 1:27
“For foxes have holes and the birds their nest
But the Son of Man needs human bodies to rest.
He wants to fulfill His Father’s design
by possessing your body for His own bloodline.
This is humanity’s desperate need
the birth of their body Incarnatologically
This is who you’re ordained to be
oneflesh with me for eternity.
A sacrifice holy and pure I request
from all of my saints at my Father’s behest,
to surrender their body as a living sign
of their spiritual worship, that’s exclusively mine.
“I appeal to you therefore,
brethren, by the mercies of God,
to present your bodies as a living
sacrifice holy and acceptable to God,
which is your spiritual worship.” Rom. 12:1
“My Spirit’s lonely travail of birth is
experienced in your flesh while you’re here on this earth.
She’s begetting you all incarnately
and adopting you into her pregnancy,
where the truth in my nature sets you all free.
Gestation within my Incarnation
Is destined to harvest the Christian nation
This is the hope of your salvation.” Rom. 8:22
“For in this Hope we were saved.”
The redemption of our bodies.
“We know that the whole creation has been
groaning in travail together until now;
and not only the creation, but we ourselves,
who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly
as we wait for adoption as sons,
the redemption of our bodies.
For in this hope we were saved.” Romans 8:22-24
First Timothy Two fifteen is obscured from the masculine form
To women it speaks
the Child-bearing He keeps
for their maternal insight alone.
[“See revelation culminate in Elizabeth and Mary, the mothers of John the Baptist and Jesus. Think how much fitter that it should be so; that they to whom the Word of God comes should be women bred in the dignity of a natural life, and familiarity with the large ways of the earth; women of simple and few wants, without distraction, and with time for reflection—compelled to reflection, indeed, from the enduring presence of an unsullied consciousness, for wherever there is a humble, thoughtful nature, into that nature the divine consciousness, that is, the Spirit of God, presses as into its own place. Holy women are to be found everywhere, but the prophetess is not so likely to be found in the city as in the hill country.”- George MacDonald in Sir Gibbie]
“Never [the less the sentence put
upon women of pain in motherhood
does not hinder their soul’s salvation,
and] they will be saved [eternally] if
they continue in faith and love and ho-
liness, with self-control; [saved indeed]
through the Child-bearing, that is,
by the birth of the [divine] Child.” 1 Timothy 2:15
The Womb of the Redemption...the inworkings of the Holy Spirit’s
One Great Pregnancy
“Shall I bring to the birth and not cause to bring forth?
says the Lord;
shall I, who cause to bring forth, shut the womb?
says your God. Is 66:9
We are fully formed in Her Womb so fair
We are fully in-formed from our doctrinal err
We are fully conformed in the mind of Christ
And fully reformed from sin and vice.
Begotten in the image of His Incarnation
Through impregnation with His Revelation
the wee culprit of our bodily birthing travail
is the incarnating of wee Immanuel.
Like Mary of old, His Bride’s pregnant as well
With the glorified nature of Immanuel
Like her, our bodies will need to give birth
Before our Bridegroom returns to this earth
To fully transform us and consummate
His marital covenant with His mate.
His Spirit praying causes Her travail
In this way, His Church, can fully prevail.
The fruit of her Womb as His pregnant spouse
Is Himself incarnating in her earthly house.
For the church’s history is graced with salvation
And He is pleased to claim her as His new creation
A chaste and pure maternal nation...
His dearly beloved Bride.
To this end the Holy Spirit labors within us and
we within Him to bring forth the consummate revelation
of the Son of Man incarnating in the Body of His Bride.
This manifests the sons and daughters of God.
“For creation waits in eager longing
for the revealing of the sons of God;” Rom 8:19
The missing piece of the mystery for me
Was an incarnate understanding of the inworkings
of the Holy Spirit’s overall maternal ministry...
God’s Great and Glorious Pregnancy.
Praise God! for Paul’s note to Timothy.
Paul’s words are the very sheepfold gate
Through which Christ chooses to illuminate
The whole mystery of His Incarnation Luke 1: 26-38
In a tongue specific to His maternal nation.
Pregnancy
Soon His Bride can fully translate.
Through the Holy Bible’s Child-bearing gate.
For Christ’s Body on earth will soon consummate.
I have not the tongue of theological fame
But I have my maternal tongue to proclaim
First Timothy two fifteen
is the scripture that hasn’t been fully seen.
I’ve opened its door for the bride to see
It’s in and outworkings in lowly me.
